  • 52 themes, 52 weeks…

So..!  I’m an hour late in figuring this out, but I think I’m going to try to stick to week-by-week themes on my Tumblr for a whole year.

I am not good at this sort of thing.

That’s why I have to do it… to test my “can’ts”.  I don’t think I can do this, so I’m going to try.

The plan:  At least one photo per day, somehow related to that week’s theme (which could be anything, so I can cheat like crazy), for the entire year.  The hard part..? Sticking to them being *MY* photos.

    Here we go.

  • too fast, and it’s gone…

:D

fotografica-gregor:

Since she liked my image below and since usbru is one of my very favourite people, I am posting this shot of ours from June of 2011. This was my first publication shooting with a model.
This was shot in an old warehouse space and was very simply lit with one large soft box to the model’s right (camera left), feathered to side light the model and spill gently enough on the background to create a two stop falloff. The background is actually about ten feet behind the model to aid in this.
This remains one of my favourite shots.
